Sparks
Today is Earth Day, and I selected an appropriate quote for my Spark. The Spark may be evident, but it is definitely worth reminding ourselves of it every day.
The first Earth Day was April 22, 1970. The Earth Day Organization web-site is bursting with information about Earth Day and its origins and definitely worth your time to read.
The author of today’s Spark, Juan Evo Morales Ayma is a 64-year-old Bolivian labour leader. He served from 2006 to 2019 as Bolivia’s President and was Bolivia’s first president of indigenous descent.
Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. It began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”
Awww Mondays
Calista Jo is here today with what I think is a rather amusing photo. She definitely was serious about cleaning between her toes.
C.J. will be participating in the Awww Mondays blog hop hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus. To do the same, click on the Awww badge.
The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky
Tomorrow is the special day when Periwinkle and Stinky set out on a new adventure. It is Periwinkle’s week to plan what they’ll be doing. Stinky is really looking forward to seeing her, and I am certain they’ll be doing something extraordinarily fun. I know they will be looking for you tomorrow. So, please don’t forget to check in at Friends Furever to find out what they get up to and into!
Thanks for joining us today.
