Amazon sadly has developed irrational and poor packing habits in the past six months or so.

Both jugs of kitty litter I ordered arrived (in separate boxes packed with other items as well) with the lids removed and off to one side, and the boxes full of loose kitty litter, which infiltrated every other product in the box.

Amazon, maybe large, heavy items like jugs of kitty litter should be packed in separate shipping boxes? You have no trouble packing things like a lone contracting shower curtain rod in a giant box by its lonesome (and no padding either). At least that way the jugs won’t crush the other items or contaminate them with a mess of spilled litter.

I didn’t deduct any stars due to the shipping issue, since I feel the stars are more intended to reflect the quality of a product to other potential shoppers. But I did want to alert others to the potential shipping mess and product loss issue.

After using the Tidy Cat Breeze system, my elderly cat’s problems now require me to return to this brand.

Out of all of the clumping litters I’ve tried, this has worked best and has typically been the least expensive (bought locally).

Odor absorption is good and long-lasting. The product clumps rapidly and well, with only occasional minor-breakups. The product is easy to scoop clean. The jug makes for a convenient way to use and store the product (and the jugs are quite useful for other things once emptied). The product does produce a little dust when I first pour it into the box, but then I don’t make a point of pouring it in delicately or whatever. My cats like this product. I wouldn’t say it scatters badly via retention on their paws or the like; a little bit here and there, but hardly noticeable.
