If you told me five years ago I would PAY for a slab of corrugated cardboard I would have said you were crazy. Now I am telling you that I would be crazy NOT to buy them! The cats LOVE them, they last FOREVER and they totally curb much of the furniture scratching. I have several scattered about it corners and not a day goes by that I don’t hear somebody picking at one of them. They also love the round track with the ball that has the cardboard insert in the center. The ABSOLUTE best ones are the Alpine slopes – they all fight over those but these are good too on a budget.

I bought several of these to put in front of my cats’ litterboxes to catch tracked litter. got this cat scratcher to use as a computer cooling pad. yep! i sit my computer on it to keep it from getting too hot while i’m watching a movie in my bed. it allows air circulation and lets the computer fan work better. don’t think i would use it all the time instead of a cooling fan pad but it works great for a movie and that way i don’t have to carry the fan pad back and forth to my bedroom. i just store the cat scratcher in my closet and pull it out when needed. got this idea from my daughter who used a cat scratcher for her computer all the time. works great and cheaper than a cooling fan pad.
