Seriously, I love these things. I clip a size #1 to the little loop inside the mouth of my backpacks and then I clip my headlamp and other small items to that, even a small stuff sack so little things are loose and lost in my pack. I use a larger one as a key chain. I use a #1 size to clip a small fixed blade to the "D" ring on my packs shoulder strap. I’ve used them to attach items to the ridgeline of my hammock. So many uses and they’re well made, look good and function well if you use them within reasonable limits. I like to have a selection on hand.

Perfect for my keychain. These “S” clips are more compact than standard biners, and you don’t have to deal with your main attachment point interfering with the mechanism when clipping or removing other items. I can clip a couple of other keys on it, another ring, or anything with a cord-type lanyard. I had a size 2 clip in stainless previously, and it was good, but this is great. I put one on my main keys, one on my spares, and the big one has now been moved to the boat keychain.

Light and strong. Despite being so small, the spring has held up over the course of a half dozen camping trips. Perfect for stringing camping lights and to hang small items.
